The Headliner

Sebastian Bach, the original lead singer for the 80's rock band Skid Row, is the headline act for 2019 Block Island Rock Fest.

Bach has sold in excess of 20 million records worldwide with Skid Row and as a solo artist. Far from just being a multi-platinum recording artist, he has expended his career over the past decade to include a five-season recurring role on the hit series Gilmore Girls; voice-over work on SpongeBob SquarePants and Robot Chicken; starring roles on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde, The Rocky Horror Show, and Jesus Christ Superstar; and appearances on ABC’s Sing Your Face Off, the comedy series Trailer Park Boys, MTV and VH1. In December 2106, he released his highly anticipated biography titled 18 and Life on Skid Row, which details his life from his birth in the Bahamas to his teenage years in Canada to the music that rocks his life today.

The Opening Acts

The opening acts this year - Dirty Deeds and Thrilldriver - definitely will not disappoint true rock fans.

Dirty Deeds Band ACDC TributeDirty Deeds The AC/DC Experience out of Boston, Mass, is a Block Island favorite.

This band has been touring the United States for more than 20 years bringing forth their high-energy and wildly entertaining tribute to one of the world's best rock bands, AC/DC! Dirty Deeds' performance revisits all of the timeless AC/DC hits along with a theatrical ride through rock n' roll history.

New York-based Thrilldriver is a high-energy, riff-driven, hard rock outfit. Fronted by singer/keytarist Zoe Friedman, the band draws heavily on arena rock influences like Aerosmith and The Darkness while fusing modern elements of metal, pop, and progressive rock to form a hard-hitting sound that is refreshingly familiar but all it’s own.
